Paris is fuckin sick, dont let what you hear about a place judge wether you go or not. I am sure most of you are familiar with Bercy, the famous Parisian skatespot. Its the spot where Kenny Hoyle does that super huge nollie back 180 in the transworld vid, and its got ledges for miles. So anyway i roll up to it, skate some ledges for a bit. There is a large crew around the stairs with tons of media. I move closer and watch as one guy switch flips the big 3 perfect. The locals were watching. I sat down and realized that it was Mike-Mo skating. Damn. He started switch flipping the big 4, a 12 stair size. Few tries and it was perfect. He started warming up to the big 5, fucking huge. He tried a few and kicked em away. I skated over to where he was starting from and said to him, "Mike, do this one for Obama" (Europeans love Obama by the way) He said, "You like Obama?" Sure was my response. (I did vote for him though) He landed on one giant switch flip and ate shit, and he was over it. I also saw Brandon Biebel there chillen, as well as Jeron Wilson and Lem Villamen. Funny that I randomly run into all these fuckin pros in Paris. It was amazing to watch the sesh go down. I proceded to 5050 the shit outta some ledges and whatnot. Fun times were had by all.

I am going to be in Barcelona on Friday for one whole week. I have nothing planned, just wake up and head out the door with my board.

i have not seen anyone these past five days, i have had a few ego waffles and like five hours of sleep to top it off.

I have ten papers due, plus two critiques, a film, an acting film, editing examn, and much more.

...as an art student, though i dont know what that fate is yet. i just submitted my porfolio for review for my BFA-painting option. hopefully i pass and get to start independant studies and thesis work next sememster. wish me luck, i honestly dont think they wont let me in, but im still a little nervous.

I'm posting late again, hope things are going well nick, when you will come back we are going to do so much meth. Anyway I hurt my thumb and toe, so I think my part is done, maybe not though, depends on how long this snow holds. Anyway lately i've been in a state of constant nastalgia. I think this is because I wish i had more time, thus I'm living a dream. For once I found myself wanting to go back to anytime at least three years ago. I am constantly having this flashback of just lazily laying in my room on a saturday with my parents at home. Sometimes I think back to grade school or whatever, I've been trying to remember things for about an hour a night, its really relaxing, and makes me feel better. From this has spawned a recent urge to listen to music that I used to. Not that it has changed that much, but music that was really popular then. no matter how bad it is, if it makes me remember, than I will listen to it. I've realized that no matter what happens to certain people, I can always have a memory.

For once i feel like I can count on this. And I appreciate that.

I have been listening to lots of music lately, or mostly just the same songs over and over again on my iPod as I sit on trains. Some songs just say to me, "I gotta be in Kream Up v.1" So here is my list of songs that I would like to hear in Kream Up. I dont know if they could even go anywhere, but let me know what ya think.

- I Kissed A Girl (katie perry) - Something about this song just makes me wanna hardflip in slo-mo HD.
- These Eyes (GuessWho) - I can see the credits rolling after the last ender ender to this song.
- Bust It Baby pt.2 (Plies ft. Ne Yo) - This song should never be in a skate video, but we can make it work. \

So the other day on my way back from Rome, I had some time at the Perugia mini-metro station. Some kids were skating out front, and I had my board, so i pushed around for a bit. I also ollied this lenghty 10 stair there, sometimes you just gotta take flight. It was pretty fun. After that I was on a bus home for two fucking hours, seriously Italian busses fucking suck. Get back and go straight to an Italian Heavy Metal concert at a harley ralley. Turns out that the band is also staying at the villa. We get home from the concert and set up wine pong, we have no beer. Rock n rollers come out, we explain pong to them, one guy kinda spoke english, they rolled a fat joint, we all got high, and old woman came outside to tell us to be quiet, got to bed at 3 am. Le vibrazioni is the name of the band, check em out.

I am coming home soon, on the 7th or 8th of November, but not before Barcelona!

Legend in the library

Lately every time Im at the library, legend is just lurking on the computers, doing god knows what. He threw a bottle cap at me tonight, the other night I asked him what he was doing he replied, "just trying to get out of this fucking town." I wonder what people think of this dirtbag on the computers all the time looking up bus tickets. Do people think he is student? Could the group grow just by having legend at the library. Legend is just fucking epic, a step from being homeless, and a step from being a legitimate skateboarder. Maybe he is really fucking good at chess or something. Well ramble ramble, still sick, no skateboarding, went fixed gear freestyling, got some products from Ragnar. Fall is coming back later this week and i might leave the house more once it gets less cold and snowy. This is when i left the house, I play the role of personal assistant 1 and brian was PA2.

It was last week I believe. I was sitting, and a song came on. It reminded me of the past, and my mom, and all of these other good things. And then I thought to myself "what am I doing?" I mean I have a lot going for me as of now, but I used to be so nice. To everyone. I used to be 100 percent honest, with those around me, and with myself. I used to wake up each day with a smile, I used to never be sad, or have second thoughts. What ever happened???

This morning i learned that some random people will sometimes have your back completely. Last night i went to a bar, very close to my hotel in Rome. we drank and talked to some dutch kids. zou je myn snor willen beryden translates to "would you like a mustache ride" in dutch. anyway, all my american friends left to go to sleep, i stayed at the bar, talked with an Afghani man who told me that he hates america, understandable i suppose. next thing i remember, i am standing outside with some italian dude in my face, i think he was asking me if i knew how to get home. fucking language barrier is so frustrating sometimes. fast forward a few hours to me waking up on the floor in some random apartment in rome. oh fuck. i did not lose a thing, except maybe my sweater but i gotta go back to the bar to get that. i am very greatful. one person cared about my well being so much that they offered me a place to stay for the night. would you let some foreign person who did not speak you language and was totally wasted sleep on your floor? hell no i wouldnt, but maybe now i will. last night i was at an unsafe level of drunk, and it wasnt good. i also got back to my hostel a bit too late and missed my friends there, so now i am waiting in the lobby of this place, using the internet, just kind of waiting for someone i know to show up.

i have not been skating that much lately, but i guess i can wait until barcelona. later

Artsy in the Art building

Today, went to classes, applied for some internships. Skipped my last class to skate. Went to the mormon rails. Bjorn hurt his ankle, basically the same injury i had over the summer. After that I went to the park had a fun little sesh. So here is the main point of this blog. Tonight, Adam, Andrew, Bailey, Fletcher, Brian, Will and I went to shoot photos of us biking on our fixies in the art building for a project/business for Bailey. It was fucking sweet. The floors were slick, the walls were white, and the lighting was for an art exhibit. Brian filmed the entire thing, Bailey took pictures of us trackstanding and doing various other tricks. Well as far as this year goes it was definately one of the funnest friday nights. It was really cool experience. Pictures will be up via fletcher.

Milltown DAMN!!!

So here is my part from my video, Milltown DAMN!!!, that I made my senior year. Watching this just brings back such fond memories for me of skating after school and filming whatever we could. I am pretty sure that my Kream Up V.1 part will be better, well lets hope so anyway.


Also, I am going to Oktoberfest this weekend in Munich Germany. I am bringing one pair of clothes, my camera, and my drinking shoes. It should be a fucking wild time.

Snow Bro!!!!

Tonight I went to the Thats it Thats All tonight. For those who dont know what this is (nick, kreamettes) it is an over the top snowboard movie. Basically it is just planet earth with rocking guitar and huge airs. It was by far the most epic snow movie ive ever seen. Chris Murphy did the graphics, i was stoaked on that. The premier was bro brah fest. It bummed me out, this dude behind me was a huge tool and kind of ruined the first part of the movie. Will put it best 3 to 1 douche to nice people. What ever though, skiing is still fun. Anyway went to meet the recruiters, it was awkard but im glad I went. Just want to go skateboarding somewhere else this weekend.
I want to learn the handplant trick that he does at about 2 minutes.

the night job dilema

when you work a night job only two nights a week, its not often you get to leave early, especially when its the two busiest nights of the week, friday and saturday. so i often arive to coffee hour every monday morning and get asked, "will, how was your weekend?" and the common response is "it was ok, i worked, skated sunday, nothin crazy." and the everyone jumps into there epic tales of night-owl debauchery...
