Kream Up Volume 2 Recap

Well its the end of a great year for the Budda Kreamas. To recap the year in somewhat of a chronological order documenting the making of Kream Up Volume 2.......

1. It was at a party after the 1st of the year at Nikki and Sheena's when Nick, Fletcher, and myself talked of starting to film for Kream Up Volume 2. I remember asking Nick and Fletcher if they were down for a part and we committed to filming a video. Filming didnt really start until a month or so after but thats beside the point. This marked a point in which we got motivated to skate. Since this is a SKATEBOARDING ONLY blog (PETS OK), Ill focus on skateboarding, since its the main thing that the virgins who look and contribute to this blog are really looking to find on this site.

2. It snowed we skated outside a bunch
3. It snowed some more we skated inside.

4. It snowed and we went to Helena a lot.

5. Oregon happened. Best spring break ever. So many Memories with great friends.
6. It kept snowing. Diekman was enraged.

7. School was over we went to Helena a Bunch. Filming Stepped into gear.
8. HAKAS
9. Summer was super fun got tons of filming in and more and more people were getting shots and parts in the video. Barbecues and moving were highlights of the end of the summer. We started a skate frat called Beta Kappa Kappa and are having a lot of fun living there.

10. Logan and I set a tentative date of September 24th for the premiere. That was changed a few times and we finally set on a date of October 1st. Filming was in full gear. Hammy and Andrew got parts and filmed them each in a month. Filming enders and editing the video were pretty hectic but in the end were the best. The premiere was a blast. Such a burden off my shoulders and a great party with awesome friends. Spending time with my friends and putting a product that we can enjoy was worth it. Thanks to everyone who filmed with me this year. I cant wait to do it again.

Since the Premiere.......
11. Landing Pad, Winter savior with helmets.

12. Snowboarding with friends. Better than the Landing Pad.

13. Pets in the Kreamer Mansion. If you thought it could get any zanier...

Thanks for the great year 2011 will be even better......hopefully Shift for Better v. 2?

Brooklyn

the brooklyn street skate spot is a local portland DIY effort to revitalize a tiny patch of a lot under a walking bridge, between a working class neighborhood and an industrial area in southeast portland. its pretty awesome to see how fast it has grown. it has recieved city approval after construction began and so it here to stay for at least a few years hopefully, and is the largest aproved DIY spot in the city since burnside. dirty skaters slashing around is so much better then what the space was previously used for, i read in the newspaper that over 30 used needles were pulled out of the ground when they were digging it out. i love to see something like this happen in bozeman, and revitalize a empty spot in the town until it gets built upon by the owners (Big O tires anybody?)

the first incarnation of the spot last year...
