or actually, i want it to be like this...

i think i want my kream up. vol 2 part to be like this...

I can die happy

This weekend was, well, amazing. Started off by eating at HOOTERS in Missoula with some old friends. Cleavage. Drove up north to Kalispell and hung out with my grandmother. She is in her 90s. A nursing home is not the most cheerful place, but her spirit was amazingly positive. I met up with the snowskate crew later that night and shot a few photos. The next day I drove around the flathead area, to Colombia Falls and Bigfork on the search for "smalltown skateparks". Nate gave me a tip and I found the smallest park, if you can even call it that, in C. Falls. Pretty much a little pyramid with hubbas. Got some photos and went to Yeti Jam. It was a pretty good year, nice and warm out. Got some more good photos and went to a crowded brewery. "I have never seen you guys, get out of my sight" was code for, welcome, I need not see an ID. Left and poached a hot tub at Kandahar. Phil frontflipped into the 3 1/2 foot pool from about 15 feet up... twice. Some guy came out and asked us what room we were staying in... silence. We got kicked out but it was all good. Logan and I shared a Toblerone. Drank a few and went to sleep, only to wake up early and GTF out of town. I drove to St. Ignacious and got a few more photos. Drove quickly to Bozeman for the game. I know we are "skaters" and we must hate "jocks", but I truly do love the New Orleans Saints. I have been raised watching football and the Saints were always my team. Anyway, the Saints beat the Colts, and I cried a bit with tears of joy. It feels so good to call myself a Saints fan. blah blah blah jock shit right... whatever. I cannot imagine what is happening in the city of New Orleans right now, but I wish that I was there. I am all about good sportsmanship, and Drew Brees is a class act all the way. A great human being who, along with the rest of the team, has brought happiness to thousands. I feel so proud.

Watch any Lady GaGa music video... cool shit.

New Poll

Check it out.

Now as winter wains......

The winter blues came and went in a matter of days here at the house of kream. Race desperately tried to skate during a snowstorm but resorted to drinking a 5th of rum to cope. The grim sight of 7 skate nerds figuring out a plan of action on a Saturday night was depressing and a bit amusing. Give it a day, it will go away. Skate church revived the stoke. It was a memorable session and cured the winter blues for some. Thanks for all who came it was the best, see you next week.

ps Diekman had a very nice sweater on

iPhoto vault

Some more randoms from my iPhoto collection.
First we have Yoyo, gapping from the top of the bookshelf to the couch, as seen in Kream Up V.1
It's great when people who don't normally skate big gaps push as fast as they can and take flight. This is Bjorn, and he took some slams jumping this one. My photo sucks. This is from three summers ago.
This is our own Nathan Witbrod, skating a tree's root, protruding above ground just enough to pivot the fuck out of  it.

so hawaii is chron as fuck. i've been snorkeling a bunch and that is fun as fuck. it so bizarre seeing all those tropicall fish and choral and what not. i hiked around a volcano and through a crater created by an old volcano so dope. i've see so many dank plants that look like they should only exist in scifi novels. plus hella waterfalls, one was 42o feet tall......yeah dude 420...like weed! i've been wearing cutoffs the whole time and it feels great. i got a sunburn which feels great. i've been skateing alot there is soooooo much chron natural tranny here its rediculous, i did my first 360 flip to fakie along with a few other new ones. i even skated on some smooth lava it wasn't much maby a foot long flat gap with very little run up and run out and it hurt alot to fall but was totally worth it. i saw sea turtels for the first time ever that was dope.......what else is happening.....drinking with my family and what not is interesting so was discussing tripping with my parents. i've been eating so much chronic fresh sea food. well i can't think of any thing else so i'll this be the end. i can't wait to hang with you maufukas and roast a fat ass bleezy!

WinterBreak

My time in Missoula has been, for the most part, pretty boring. I wake up at 11, sit around till the evening, watch skate videos on the computer, and maybe go out at night. There is a bar here called the Top Hat, and it is pretty prime. I did buy a growler from some guy who called himself "Cheddar Bob", and his story and words of wisdom are printed on the glass, along with a picture of a cheddar cheese wheel holding a growler. I skated MOBASH yesterday and had a damn good time, but it has been snowy and rainy here. Too bad 52 aint open, but they WILL BE OPEN AGAIN SOON (according to their website, but who knows). Like Diekman, I too am fond of Krooked and the people who skate for them, such as this guy Brad. I made a Tye-Dye shirt the other day like a true Missoulian. I got a new car, shes a beauty. I bought Beauty and the Beast 2 and we all got background props, including my parents, who should have brought the pugs to the event. Over on the links, I added a blog by some dude who likes to talk skating. Theres a lot to read and its all pretty interesting. See you folks in a few days.
